Lisa and I have spent the last two weeks (post March Break and in between Easter Break) implementing the unit with our students. Despite both of us feeling under the weather today, we have been energized reflecting on the positive feedback that the students work has given us. We both managed to complete two out of the three portions of our units, and we look forward to teaching the final part next week.
A portion of the day was spent on finding the perfect book cover for our units. We agreed that an abstract water colour painting was exactly the representation and feeling that we both wanted as you start your journey into Mental Health.
Next Steps
- Make the appropriate edits to lesson plans (revise, delete) to all units to be completed by Sunday.
- Lisa has taken on the tedious task of putting together the unit in a book format. Lets hope we can convert those PDF files easily!
- We are meeting Thursday, April 7th to look at the book before we send it to the publisher.
- Fingers crossed that we will be attending the Parent Conference next Saturday to debut our Units.
